The Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) nominates individuals to the federal government for permanent residency. Individuals are chosen based on their ability to economically establish and their intent to live and work in PEI. Current key needs that are being met by the PEI PNP are filling gaps in our labour market and attracting entrepreneurs.

 PEI offers rewarding career opportunities and a business community that is supportive of entrepreneurs. Students come to PEI from more than 60 countries to experience first-rate education. The higher education programs are meeting the demands for a skilled workforce with industry-specific programs and degrees in diverse fields.

The PEI PNP accepts applications under three major immigration categories:

• PEI PNP Express Entry 
• Labour Impact Category
• Skilled Workers Stream
• Critical Workers Stream
• International Graduate Stream

• Business Category 
• 100% Ownership Stream
• Partial Ownership Stream
• Work Permit Stream
